Robert Theiss was born in Akron, Ohio and has lived in Oregon since 1973. In 1979, he started his first business, Falcon Designs, as a custom furnituremaker. His work became nationally recognized and has been featured in Fine Homebuilding, Woodwork Magazine, Fine Furniture Design Book #5, Old House Interiors, American Bungalow, Better Homes and Garden and in the Bellevue Art Museum. In 1989, he became interested in alternative healing modalities and in 1993, was initiated as a Reiki master. Over the next 5 years, he taught over a 1000 students the art of healing with your hands. It was in these classes that he became aware of the presence of Archangel Michael. In 1998, he began to openly share that relationship, with the support of his wife, Koka Filipovic, in a variety of workshops, online courses, live webcasts and in three books.
Koka Filipovic was born and raised in Zagreb, Croatia where she attended the University of Zagreb studying art history and literature. Since 1987 she has worked as an interior designer, helping to create living spaces for her clients that are attractive, comfortable and in harmony with their surroundings. While studying design, drawing and watercolor, she began to develop her own images that reflect a sense of balance and a deep reverence for nature. In 2006, she started her first business, Sanctuary Designs as an independent interior designer and mixed media artist. Her art is featured in a variety of galleries and can now be found in retail stores everywhere.
Archangel Michael serves the "fire" aspect of Spirit. He offers his hand in friendship and his heart in communion with any human being. He is an angelic aspect of the soul being known known as Mi-ka-el.
